Guaranteed Prices: Baltics & Beyond Travel’s published tour prices are based on the rates known at the time of publication and are expected to be in effect at the time of departure. Once we have received your deposit, your price is guaranteed and any subsequent price increase is at our expense.
Reservations: Make reservations well in advance. Space requested by phone will be held for five business days pending receipt of the required deposit by mail, telephone or in person. Reservations made after the indicated final payment due date must be paid in full at the time of reservation.
$500 Deposit per Person: A deposit must accompany all reservation requests. Personal check, money order, MasterCard, VISA or Venmo all are acceptable forms of payment.
Final Payment: A balance due date and amount will be indicated on your tour statement. We accept credit cards but ask that final payments be made by check or money order.
Refunds: Deposits and all payments are fully refundable prior to the final payment due date if you contract the Coronavirus and are not able to travel. Baltics and Beyond Travel issues refunds in this situation by check within 30 days. See refund schedule for comprehensive refund policy.
COVID-19 Tour Policy: Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations and booster shots are required to participate in all Baltics and Beyond Travel tours. You must provide photocopies of this proof to Baltics and Beyond by email to [email protected] (note: “Vaccination Proof” in the subject line) no later than 14 days before the tour commences. Proof includes a photocopy of the original vaccination documents issued by either: (a) the health authority that administered the vaccination (i.e., U.S. CDC’s Vaccination Record Card); or (b) the participant’s medical provider that administered the vaccinations. Adherence to local laws governing the use of masks and other safety precautions also must be followed by all tour participants.
Children on Tour: Children traveling on tour must be at least eight years old and be accompanied by an adult with parental or legal guardian authority. Divorced parents must bring a notarized letter of permission signed and dated by the non-traveling parent clearly stating that the child/children have his/her permission to leave the United States and to participate in this specific tour, including dates and locations.
Special Requests: Individual requests must be made when booking. Requests for (non)smoking, dietary needs, adjoining, handicap accessible or other types of rooms are subject to confirmation and cannot be guaranteed.
Hazardous Materials: Federal law forbids the carriage of hazardous materials aboard aircraft in your luggage or on your person. A violation can result in five years’ imprisonment and penalties of $250,000 or more (49 U.S.C. 5124). Hazardous materials include explosives, compressed gases, flammable liquids and solids, oxidizers, poisons, corrosives and radioactive materials. For further information, visit www.faa.gov.
Persons needing Special Assistance: Baltics and Beyond Travel does not provide personal attendant services. Any disability requiring special attention should be reported to us at the time you make your reservation. We will make reasonable attempts to accommodate special needs, but we are not responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, restaurants, and other independent suppliers. Travelers requiring assistance must be accompanied by a companion who is capable of, and totally responsible for, providing the necessary assistance.
Gratuities: Tips for all the included features of your tour (i.e., meals and private drivers, etc.) will be taken care of by your Tour Leader. Tips for meals on your own or for other services are at your discretion. Customary tips for the Tour Leader and additional tips for Drivers are on a voluntary basis and given individually.
Insurance: Baltics and Beyond Travel recognizes the value and importance of travel insurance for our customers. We recommend an optional Travel Protection Plan, which helps provide coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical and Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation, Trip Delay, Baggage Delay and more. If you would like to purchase the insurance, please contact Trawick International at 888-301-9289, ext. 4. Policy options can be reviewed online at https://www.trawickinternational.com. Please note that there are certain restrictions, exclusions and limitations that apply to all coverages. Plan benefits, limits and provisions may vary by state.
Triple and Quad: These accommodations usually are in rooms with two double beds. A rollaway bed or cot is subject to availability on a request basis.
Passport Required: Your passport must be valid for 6 months from the end date of your tour. It is Baltics and Beyond Travel policy that all tours require a U.S. passport in the form of a passport book. Passport cards are not advised for any Baltics and Beyond Travel tour.
Tour Documents: Tour packets will be mailed at least ten days before your tour departure date. This material includes tour pickup location and time, a tour itinerary, and lodging details.
Photography and Video on Tour: Baltics and Beyond Travel reserves the right to take photographs and/or videos on any of its tours and to use such records for promotional and/or commercial purposes.
Responsibility: Tours are arranged and operated by Baltics and Beyond Travel, LLC., 903 Goodrich Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55105. Baltics and Beyond Travel and their agents act only as an agent for such other parties, firms or corporations providing services herein. No liability shall be incurred by Baltics and Beyond Travel, their agents, presenters, or co-sponsors because of injury, loss, delay or other complication experienced by tour participants.
Corrections: Baltics and Beyond Travel reserves the right to correct publishing errors, to make any changes or alterations in the printed itineraries, dates, routings, accommodations or included features prior to, or during, necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the tour. Activity Level: Please note that tours required a significant amount of touring on foot and standing. Travelers should be able to walk one to miles a day. Footing can be an issue and travelers should be able to negotiate cobblestones, uneven surfaces (possibly steep and/or wet) and deal with situations without handrails or ramps. Some attractions are only accessible via steep staircases, and museums rarely have elevators.
Tour Includes:
- Shared accommodations, meals, restaurant tips for included meals, as noted in the final itinerary.
- Ground transportation by public or private vehicle (type of vehicle depends on number of travelers in your group).
- Services of informative and responsible English-speaking guides.
- Special events, excursions and cultural performances, as outlined in the final itinerary.
- Pre-departure information, including packing list, reading list and travel tips.
Tour Does Not Include:
- International airfare and taxes/fuel surcharges.
- Meals and drinks not specified as included in the final itinerary.
- Single supplement if requested or required.
- Baggage handling.
- Gratuities to local guides, drivers, porters and other service personnel.
- Expenses incurred as a result of delay, modification, or extension of a tour due to causes beyond our control.
- Travel-related insurance, including cancellation, medical and evacuation insurance.
- Visa fees, excess-baggage charges, airport departure taxes, vaccination and other medical costs.
- Optional pre- or post-tour extensions.
- Items of a personal nature, such as phone calls, email, laundry and alcohol.
